What we’re doing: We are asking all people with interest to participate in the 40 Days 40 Dollars 40 Friends challenge in which each friend is asked to collect $1 a day (minimum) for 40 days (which will start on 2/13 and conclude on Jen's birthday at the end of March) in an effort to support a cause that is dear to our dear friend. All proceeds raised will go to the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana.

Why we’re doing it: Anyone who knows Jen can see that great things come in small packages! Employed as a Group Sales Manager for one of the largest hotel properties in downtown Indianapolis, Jen defines hospitality, and her passion serves as an asset to all those around her. She has a heart for children’s charities, so we decided to support a House that gives families a respite in their greatest time of need. Our dear friend has never known a stranger, which is why we knew we wanted to give back to the community.

Who it benefits: The mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana is to provide a supportive home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill or critically injured children receiving medical care at Indianapolis-area hospitals, primarily Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. Because their core philosophy is that “togetherness heals” they embrace these families without regard to income. Last year, they housed 1,400 families at their Limestone Street location, and they assisted 46,500 families through their day-retreat services at their Riley location.
